In order to shed light on places and personalities related to Latvian book publishing, promote public participation and strengthen the identity of the local community, the National Library of Latvia in cooperation with Valmiera Library and Rūjiena Exhibition Hall prepared a video essay on the Enlightenment worker, pastor and book publisher Gustavs Bergmanis (1749–1814). Līga Siliņa, Head of Rūjiena Exhibition Hall, tells about the course of life, professional activity and personality of Gustavs Bergmanis.
