Awakening. The Story of the Herrnhutians exhibition opened

The Modināšana. Stāsts par Hernhūtiešiem (Awakening. The Story of the Herrnhutians) exhibition can be seen at the Level 5 exhibition hall of the National Library of Latvia (NLL) from 27 April 2022 to 30 September 2023. The exhibition is one of the 2022 high points of the Latviešu grāmatai – 500 (500 Years of Latvian books) series of events and was opened by series' patron, Latvia's President Egils Levits. The exhibition features unique material – Herrnhutian manuscripts from the NLL collection. In 2017, these were included in the Latvian national register of the UNESCO Memory of the World programme.
