Gvido Straube's lecture "The Herrnhutter Movement as a Forerunner of the National Awakening"

On 1 December 2022, the National Library of Latvia hosted Dr. hist. Gvido Straube's lecture "The Herrnhutter Movement as a Forerunner of the National Awakening".

The lecture examined the qualitative changes in Vidzeme farmers facilitated by the brotherhood churches, without which the national revival would not have been possible and which can also be observed in the culture of today's Latvian population.
