On 13 April 2023, the National Library of Latvia (NLL) hosted a reading by Jana Dreimane, Senior Researcher at the NLL, titled "Two Centenaries – Librarian Societies in Latvia and Estonia: Similarities and Differences in their Activities in 1923–1940". The lecture gave an insight into the paths of fate, hopes, and achievements of the Latvian and Estonian Librarian Societies, which resulted from mutual cooperation.
