Seminar "In the Rivers of Milk and Nectar: the Roman Poet Ovid and His Legacy"

On 2 November 2023, the National Library of Latvia held a seminar "In the Rivers of Milk and Nectar: the Roman Poet Ovid and His Legacy", which made it possible to explore antique texts in greater depth and to appreciate the swirls of their translation and interpretation. The seminar was led by associate professors of the Department of Classical Philology of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia Brigita Cīrule and Ilona Gorņeva.
